Project Description

Join us on Saturday, May 11th from 9am - 1pm at No. 2 Canyon! Meet at the container at the newly graveled parking lot. 

We will be breaking into small groups to carry out specific maintenance objectives around the recreation area. Objectives will include brushing, lopping, and dirt work trail improvement. Transport will be provided to the work sites greater than 1 mile away. You are welcome to bring your bike and ride down!

We will conclude with a taco feed and some cold beverages at the picnic shelter!

It's our volunteers who make this possible, and we're counting on your support to keep these trails amazing!

What to expect

  • No experience necessary
  • All tools will be provided
  • Expect to be physically active and to work at your own pace
  • Uneven terrain of all types

What to Wear

  • Clothing for all weather conditions
  • Sturdy Footwear, boots recommended
  • Long pants 
  • Work gloves if you have them
  • Long-sleeved shirt recommended
  • Eye protection recommended (glasses, sunglasses or safety glasses)

What to Bring

  • A backpack to carry your personal gear
  • A jacket or coat in case of cold weather
  • Snacks/Lunch
  • Water
